Another Hoedown at the Hoof has come and gone but the stoke from this Saturday’s 10th anniversary contest is definitely still in the air. It’s pretty cliche to describe an event as “the best one yet” but I think the HoeDown is still on the ups when it comes to Canadian contests. This year was chock-full of fresh new faces in the bowl and some roaring fans on the sidelines. Great to see a huge gathering of skaters celebrating the thrashin more than the fashion and nice to know there’s still a solid home for high speed skating and a little punk rock
