This year Vancouver’s downtown is looking a lot different due to road closures from the FIFA World Cup, but Go Skate Day will not be derailed in Vancouver.
Vancouver’s Go Skate Day will start at 12 pm at UBC Skatepark, before the usual horde of skaters barge spot to spot around UBC in classic Go Skate Day fashion. The event will end with a hill bomb down NW Marine Drive to Spanish Banks where there will be a community BBQ hosted by the Vancouver Skateboard Coalition.
