This year will be the 20th anniversary of Beat the Heat!
Medicine Hat Skateboard Association is proud to host Canada’s largest amateur skateboard competition every year June 30th & July 1st at Kinsmen Skate Plaza in Medicine Hat, AB.
- Over $16,000 in cash and $10,000 in product
- Equal prize purse for men $5,000 and women $5,000
- Opportunities to earn Canada Skateboard ranking points
Categories include Beginner (ages 12 and under), Intermediate (ages 13-16), men’s, and women’s.
Participants can register in person at the event tent at the skatepark June 30th or July 1st.
The game of SKATE will take place the evening of June 30th and the main competition will be held on July 1st.
The event happens in conjunction with Canada Day festivities at Kin Coulee park adjacent to the skatepark.
