SureWood Skateboards is a grassroots company owned and operated by lifetime skateboarders. Based out of Prince Edward Island, they make single press, hand-cut boards with their own designs and shapes made in-house. Every board is constructed individually with great love and attention to detail.
Surewood has built themselves from the ground up with the ideals of having high quality product, easy customization and a strong commitment to helping the local skate community grow.
After a full spring of product development followed by a busy summer of production, the SureWood team and family took every opportunity in October to hit the streets for clips and are now releasing October Flow.
The video has more of a family, friends vibe then your regular tricks and bangers video and it makes me want to go visit PEI so bad.
Every healthy skate scene needs a skate shop and none of this would have been possible without the support and opportunities presented by Town City. Town City Skate Shop opened in Charlottetown in July of 2020 and instantly breathed new life into PEI’s skate community. Despite the pandemic and the hurdles that came with it, Town City has thrived and quickly became a hub for locals old or young, skater or not.
