House Of Vans Toronto

We are pleased to announce the return of House of Vans in Toronto September 21 to 23. As the cultural hub for the brand, House of Vans is an incubator of creative expression bringing to life Vans’ founding pillars of action sports, art, music and street culture. Vans is excited to bring the pop-up experience to Toronto in celebration of the vibrant community based on the city.

The densely packed, three days of programming will take place at the newly revamped Bentway, located underneath the Gardiner Expressway. House of Vans Toronto will comprise of a live concert, art show, creative workshops, a community market showcasing local vendors and a skatepark built and designed in partnershop with key partners in the Canadian skateboard community to honor the city’s rich history in skateboarding.

Highlights of the pop-up event include headlining performances by Hampton Virginia rapper, singer and songwriter D.R.A.M. and an evening of live cooking with Toronto chef and television personality Matty Matheson. Creative activations feature the launch of the inaugural issue of Toronto’s own Rental Magazine, a photo exhibition, and a photography workshop with Pat O’rourke and Rebeca Ramsdale.

House of Vans is proud to present Get on Board: a celebration of women’s skateboarding. The initiative invites women of all ages to participate in on-site skate clinics, inspiring a new wave of women’s skateboarding progressions.

“As one of the key cultural hubs in Canada we are excited to bring House of Vans back to Toronto” said Vans Canada General Manager, Jared Bevens. “We collaborated closely with the local community to bring Vans’ ‘Off The Wall’ spirit to life. With a fresh location at The Bentway and exciting interactive experiences, like our Get on Board skate clinics and the Community Market, House of Vans provides a platform to highlight and support the thriving creative culture of Toronto.”

The pop-up House of Vans in Toronto will be located at 250 Fort Yorke Blvd, at the newly revamped Bentway located underneath the Gardiner Expressway. The event will kick off at 3pm Friday, September 21 and run throughout the weekend.

All event and all activations are free and open to the public.
